The Benefits

  • Reduce stress and anxiety by getting practical answers to common questions without sorting through a stack of handouts or getting lost in the internet rabbit hole. I can offer resources and recommendations to help you make informed decisions around your treatment protocol and find community and support as you begin this process. Peace of mind comes in many forms and sometimes it’s just knowing that you aren’t alone.

  • Surgery and treatments bring a lot of physical, mental, and emotional challenges. We can talk through tips and tricks for reducing side effects, product recommendations to help heal faster, and resources for support at this stage of the game. It’s also a great time to share your feelings with someone outside of your daily circle, someone who’s been there and gets it and can validate how you are feeling.

  • What now? Figuring out where to go from here is not a simple conversation but we can get you started by addressing where you are and what challenges you are facing. From there it might be recommendations to help you navigate some of the larger lifestyle changes you’ve experienced or how to deal with cancer culture and whether or not advocacy is right for you. Whatever you want to talk through I’m here.

  • Cancer doesn’t just happen to the person with the diagnosis. Everyone who loves, lives with, or even knows the person is impacted in their own way. If you are facing a breast cancer diagnosis of someone you know and want to find ways to support them (or yourself) through the treatment process and beyond, this is the perfect chance to learn from someone who’s been there. We can talk through how you can be of support to your loved one in a way that is comfortable for you and beneficial to them as an individual so you know you are showing up in the best way you can.

Listen, share, take notes, it's your call and I'm here for you!

You’ve got a breast cancer insider in your corner.

In professional service since 2012, I have worked with thousands of women impacted by breast cancer through my integrative oncology practice and non-profit work.

I have also been through breast cancer myself.

One of the things I get consistent feedback on is that my clients appreciate me as a trusted source of guidance, information and support.

This is the quickest and easiest way to work with me and it’s your opportunity to "pick my brain"!

This time is yours to get what you need out of it.

We can share experiences, you can ask questions, or we can talk about your needs so that I can offer recommendations and resources that are tailored to you.

I’m like a good friend who knows how to ask the right questions and offer the right answers.

“I met with Amy today virtually and she helped me so much! She gave me so much insight and validated my feelings and concerns. This is no easy process, but Amy made me feel at ease with the plan ahead. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through breast cancer! Having someone that has been there and can offer advice and support is a godsend!”

“When my colleague and friend shared she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, I felt so helpless and ill equiped to help her. Being able to buy her an hour with Amy (Ask Amy) was the only thing I could think to do that might give her what she needed right now. I'm so thankful for this service. My friend had a safe place to go to learn, process and plan. It helped her think through things that were not on her radar and prepared her for dealing with some of what comes with sharing your diagnosis with others. There is little else I could have given her that would have had as much value as time with Amy.”
