My Clients
My clients are people who have received a breast cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives. Some are newly diagnosed and some are living decades out in survivorship with no evidence of disease. Some are in active treatment and some are navigating life with stage four metastases. Regardless of their “breast cancer stats” they are looking to live their best lives day-to-day and want to learn to play an active role in their own care.
My clients are most often cis-gendered women between the ages of 30 and 55 but I recognize that cancer does not discriminate based on age, race, sexual orientation, or gender expression.
As a cisgendered, white woman who has been touched by breast cancer professionally and personally, one of the lessons I’m learning is that our experience is shaped by our experience, but our experience is also limited by our experience.
As such, I am deeply dedicated to making my work welcoming and inclusive of all human experiences and expressions.
If you are seeking support for a breast cancer diagnosis and you are a person of color, a cisgendered male, non-binary, trans, or any other person who does not identify as a cisgendered white woman I would love to support you. I also understand that you may feel that your needs will be better met by other providers.
If you feel that this is the case, please contact me so that I may offer community-specific guidance and support through resources and recommendations that are more tailored to your personal experience.
I am actively engaging in conversations to affirm and support the experiences of all people impacted by breast cancer and am looking ahead to ways to expand my services and offerings so that everyone who needs the type of support I offer may receive it in a way that is comfortable and safe for them.
