Welcome Back to Sunday Self-Care (+ A Little Something New)

From the Sunday Self-Care Chronicles | 4/20/25

Welcome to this week’s Sunday Self-Care Chronicles — a weekly letter where I share practical tools, gentle truths, and love for your body even after a breast cancer diagnosis. Each post includes a bit of story, a bit of strategy, and something to consider as you navigate your own path through recovery, rhythm, and rest.

This week’s issue touches on:

✨ Returning to a weekly schedule.

✨ A new format!

✨ Something to consider.

Read the full email below - and if something speaks to you please feel free to comment, share, or reach out!

Hello, dear one.

I know I've been a little quieter in your inbox lately, but I'm excited to be back!

I pulled back to sending these every other week for a bit — partly to give myself some breathing room, and partly because I never want to write just to write. But the truth is, this weekly rhythm means a lot to me — and I’ve heard from many of you that it means a lot to you, too.

So The Sunday Self-Care Chronicles is back to weekly. But don’t worry — I’m not adding noise. I’m adding nourishment.

Here’s what’s new:

These emails will follow a gentle rhythm — a little story, a little insight, and something small to try or reflect on.

I’ll share more practical tools for life after breast cancer — from self-care strategies to honest conversations about healing.

↠ And starting now, every issue will live in an online archive so you can revisit the ones that resonate or catch up if you miss a week.

Nothing you have to do — just know I’ll be here every Sunday with something real, useful, and rooted in care.

💭 Something to consider:

What does “self-care” look like for you right nowwhen no one’s watching, and you’re not trying to impress anyone?

For me lately? The unhealthier version was looking like late-night scrolling (sometimes the news, sometimes just… whatever). But the version I’m trying to return to is reading for 20–30 minutes before bed. It helps my brain actually start to wind down instead of up — which, let’s be honest, is half the battle.

You can share this with me or just reflect on it for yourself for now.

☕️ I’d love to hear from you:

Hit reply and tell me how you’re doing these days — or what you’d love to see more of in your inbox.

With a hand on my heart 🫶🏻 (and one eye on your lymphatic system), I'm always in this with you.
